Auli Kuari Pass Trek with Pangarchulla Trek is one of the famous trek in Uttarakhand. Pangarchulla peak is 14700 feet high from sea level. It’s one of the best trek for trekking lovers. For adventure lovers its perfect trek to try this trek as their first trek to Himalaya. This trek can be done throughout the year but winter season is very difficult for this trek due to large amount of snow. Although it is worth to try in winter if you like challenging trekking. Auli Kuari Pass with Pangarchulla Trek is 7 days. From rocky terrains trek takes you to more higher mountains where you will see Pahadi Villages. Step wise farms and small houses with roofs of stones are very common apart from alpine meadows. Many of the famous mountain peaks are visible during this trekking like Nanda Devi, Barmal, Chaukhamba & Hati- Ghori. Some areas of trek are part of Nanda Devi National Park. Most part of the trekking you will have great views of Pangarchulla summit. Apart from great views of snow clad mountains you will also see forest of oak trees, red rhododendrons, pine trees, silver birch as well as Bhojpatra. Sometime trekkers also spot musk deer, black bear etc. Some parts of trek has amazing slopes where winter season snow is perfect for some fun without danger of falling.

Best Time For This Trekking: This trek can be done through out the year. However monsoon season is very difficult during third week of june till second week of sep. Winter season here is between second week of nov till march has large amound of snow which makes very difficult sometime. Summer will be best time for this trek in April May June. Sep second week to nov second week is also good time for this trek.

How to Reach: Nearest railway station is Haridwar which has good frequency of trains to many other cities. Haridwar is 270 kms by road which takes approx 7 hrs via Haridwar - Rishikesh- Srinagar - Dev Prayag - Rudra Prayag - Karnprayag - Joshimath Route. Nearest Airport is Dehradun Airport which is 265 kms drive via Rishikesh to Joshimath - Auli route as per above.

Day 01: Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun to Auli (2200 meters) (250 kms / 7-8 hrs Drive)

Tour starting point is Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun as per choice of client. Above places can be reached by Haridwar railway or Dehradun Airport. If you arrive one or two days before you can visit Haridwar Rishikesh.
After meeting out staff tour will start at 7:00 AM. After Rishikesh you will see gorgeous himalayan mountains valley and majestic river ganga flowing through its mountains. On the way four prayag is worth to look at. Prayag is confluence of Rivers. Alaknanda is coming from Badrinath. Alaknanda meets rivers like Bhagirathi, Mandakini, Pindarganga and Nandakini which creates four Sangam (Prayag). Check in to the hotel. Night stay in Auli.

Day 02: Auli to Gulling Top via Dhak Village (2900 meters) (05 kms trek / 4 hour trek)

Morning after breakfast check out. After drive to Dhak village start your trek. Our trek is through Dhak Village, Tugasi Village & Gulling Village. Today's trek is mixture of some steep climbing and through villages. Oak, Walnut and Rhododendron trees are common in this part. At Gulling Top we will establish tents for night stay. Night stay at Gulling Top.

Day 03: Gulling Top to Campsite (3350 meters) (6 kms / 5 hour trek)

Today morning after breakfast at camp site we will start our trek to our campsite. Today most of our trek is step climbing through dense forest. After reaching campsite acclimization walk is good to try. Night stay at campsite in tents.

Day 04: Campsite to Kuari Pass (3810 m) and Return. (04 kms one way / 5-5 hours trek total)

Today after breakfast we start our trek to Kauri Pass via Khullara. Kuari Pass is located at the height of 12500 feet. Initially its difficult trek which will be easier in later half. Due to no water on this route better to carry water. Later return to camp site. Night stay at in tents.

Day 05: Campsite to Pangarchulla Peak (4480 m) and Return. (06 kms one way / 8 hours trek total)

Today we will climb for Pangarchull Peak. Up to Khullara its same route and from there it is changed to Pangarchulla instead of Kuari Pass. Snow is very common here throughout the year. From the top you will get 360 degree panoramic views. Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, Kedar, Trishul, Kamet and Dronagiri are some of the peaks your can see. Later return to camp site. Night stay at in tents.

Day 06: Campsite to Dhak Village and Drive to Joshimath. (11 kms trek / 7 hours trek)

After breakfast in morning we will leave campsite. Today we will trek down to Dhak village. Going down will be pleasant feeling as now you are also comfortable in this altitude. We will pass through villages and forest as before. By afternoon we will reach joshimath. Check in to hotel. Night stay at in Joshimath hotel.

Day 07: Joshimath to Rishikesh / Haridwar / Dehradun (250 kms / 7-8 hours drive)

Morning after breakfast, visit Narsingh Temple. Later check out. We will drive to Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun. We will drop you at Haridwar Rishikesh or Dehradun according to your choice. Tour ends here.
