Ginger Valley Trek area is 30 kms far from Rishikesh in himalayan mountains known from Ginger farming. Ginger Valley Trek provides amazing mountain views of Shiwalik range of Himalayas. Potato, Tomato, Onion, rice, wheat are also grown here apart from ginger. Farms in mountains are generally step wise areas due to lack of flat area available for large famrs. So here also farms are like that.
Apart from mountain views during Ginger Valley Trek also provides opportunity to understand village culture. Villages are often very small in population and widely spreaded in area. Garhwali is language popular in this area. Average height is above 1400 mtrs so it is slight cooler than Rishikesh / Haridwar.
