Harsil is name of the village in Uttarkashi district. Harsil is located on Uttarkashi - Gangotri highway. Harsil is 72 kms far from Uttarkashi and 30 kms far from Gangotri. Harsil is located on the bank of the Bhagirathi River. Harsil Harsil is part of Bhatwari Tehsil. Harsil has approx 1300 population. Harsil (harshil) is known for its himalayan valley valley views. Harsil is also home to ITBT (Indo - Tibet Border Police) cantonment area. Harsil is close to ancient indo - tibet trade route. Apart from Army most local people are enganged in farming (Apples and Rajama etc) and woolen work. Lot of tourist buy apples while travelling to Harsil.

Morning after breakfast visit Gangotri Temple & Mukhba Village. Night stay in Harsil Village.
Day 03: Harsil
Morning after breakfast enjoy walk around area. Stroll on the bank of Bhagirathi river. Take photographs with milky water streams of Himalaya. Enjoy nature, meet people, learn about lifestyle. Night stay in Harsil Village.
Day 04: Harsil to Rishikesh / Haridwar / Dehradun (7 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast check out. Transfer to Rishikesh / Haridwar / Dehradun and drop.
