Munsiyari is best to visit throughout the year due to pleasant weather. July August is monsoon season which is difficult drive sometime but apart from monsoon you can visit it round the year. Winter is prefered by many due to good snowfall.

How to reach Munsiyari :
By Road: Munsiyari can be reached from Delhi by multiple routes. Delhi - Gaziabad - Bazpur - Nainital - Almora - Binsar - Bageswar - Munsiyari is approx 590 kms drive. Other route is Delhi - Khatauli - Kashipur - Ramnagar - Ranikhet - Dwarhat - Bageswar - Munsiyari is 560 kms but it is less preferred. Pithoragarh is 135 kms, Almora is 200 kms and Tanakpuri is 285 kms far.
By Railway: Tanakpur & Kathgodam is nearest Railway Station for Munsiyari. Both are approx 7 hrs drive from Munsiyari. Kathgodam is many tourist like to arrive due to other hill station also nearby Kathgodam to visit.
By Air: Pithoragarh is nearest Airport at 135 kms but flights are not regular. Pantnagar Airport is 300 kms and recently number of flights are increasing here. Delhi Airport is also good option if you want long trip including some other destionations in Kumaon to visit together.
